ARABIC: Reporting corruption: Six in 10 Tunisians say they risk retaliation
أفاد 6 من أصل 10 تونسيين أنهم يواجهون خطر الردود الانتقامية في صورة ما أبلغوا عن حالات فساد، لكن مع ذلك، ترى نفس الحصة من المستطلعة آرائهم أن المواطنين العاديين قادرين على إحداث فرق في محاربة الفساد، و ذلك وفق ما كشفه اخر استطلاع للأفروباروميتر. أيضاً، تنقسم آراء التونسيين إلى ما إذا كانت السلطات ستتخذ إجراءات أم لا عندما يتم الإبلاغ عن مثل هذه الحوادث.
حسب ما أظهرته نتائج الاستطلاع، صرّح 7 من أصل 10 تونسيين أن الفساد ازداد مقارنة بالعام الماضي
يحتل الفساد المرتبة الثالثة بين أهم المشاكل التي يرغب المواطنون في ان تعالجها الحكومة، و لكنهم صرّحوا في نفس الوقت أنهم غير راضين عن أدائها في مكافحة الفساد.
ينظر الى الموظفين الحكوميين (القطاع العام/ الإدارة) و أعضاء مجلس النواب الأكثر توّرطا في الفساد، في حين سجلت الشرطة أعلى معدلات لدفع الرشوة من قبل المواطنين.
يُنظر إلى كل من الأغنياء ، وإلى حد أقل ، الاشخاص العاديين على أنهم قادرون على دفع الرشاوى أو استخدام العلاقات الشخصية للحصول على مزايا غير قانونية.
كان الفساد المدرك أحد الأسباب الرئيسية لموجة احتجاجات 2010-2011 و التي أدت إلى الإطاحة بالرئيس بن علي. لكن، بعد مرور سبع سنوات على هذه الاحتجاجات ، لا تزال تونس تسجل فقط 42 (من أصل 100) في مؤشر الفساد لمنظمة الشفافية الدولية لعام 2017 ، كما احتلت المرتبة 74 من بين 180 دولة ،تقريبا لا يوجد تغيير مقارنة بعام 2011 حيث احتلت تونس المرتبة 73.
