The Afrobarometer National Partner in Kenya, IDS, interviewed a nationally representative, random, stratified probability sample of 1599 adults from 13th September 2016 to 8th October 2016. A sample of this size yields results with a margin of error of [+/-2.45%] at a 95% confidence level. Previous surveys have been conducted in Kenya in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2011 and 2014. IDS provided technical backstopping for the survey.
