Mozambicans optimistic about country’s overall direction, survey shows

A majority of Mozambicans are optimistic about the overall direction of the country and prospects for a stronger national economy, according to the latest Afrobarometer survey.

About half describe the country’s economic condition as good, but only about one-third say the same about their personal living conditions. Nonetheless, most Mozambicans say they expect the country's economic condition to improve during the next year.
